IGRSUP | Stamp & Registration Department Govt. of Uttar Pradesh

The stamp and Registration department of Uttar Pradesh came up with an initiative named the IGRSUP portal. Through this portal, various registration documents of the state like properties registration, certificates, etc were made online. A record of the registration documents and certificate is kept on the IGRSUP portal by the registration department and it can be easily accessed by the authorities and the general public. Some of the Govt. to citizen services provided on the portal are, searching property and details, encumbrance certificate, stamp duty services, property registration, etc.

As mentioned above, there are various G2C services available on the IGRSUP portal for the people of Uttar Pradesh. We have provided a list of the citizen services offered on the portal below.

Register Property on the IGRSUP Portal

Online Property registration in Uttar Pradesh can be done through the IGRSUP portal. To register your property online follow the procedure given below

  • Open the official igrsup.gov.in portal by clicking on this link.
  • Click on the enter button given under the welcome tab to open the portal.
  • Now click on the Apply or आवेदन करें option given under the property registration or सम्पत्ति पंजीकरण tab.
  • A new page will open where you can either log in or you can also register by clicking on the new applicant or नवीन आवेदन option as shown in the image below.

  • The application page will open where you need to enter the following details:
    • District 
    • Tehsil
    • Sub Registrar
    • Mobile Number
  • After filling in this information, you need to set up a password that will be used by you while signing into the IGRSUP Portal.
  • Now click on the sign-in button and your account will be created.
  • From your account dashboard Select the property registration option and the form page will open. Now you need to fill in multiple information about you and your property like your name, address and other personal details, area or location of property, type of property, etc.
  • With all the information, the user is also required to upload all the required documents on the portal.
  • Now a stamp duty fee and registration fee will be calculated on the basis of your submitted details which you need to pay to complete the registration process.
  • Download your registration application and take a printout of it which will be used further to track the status of your application.

Property Search on igrsup.gov.in

  • Click on the property search or सम्पत्ति खोजें option given on the homepage of the official portal.
  • The property search page will open where the user is required to select from the following options given on the page:
  • Property Address (Details of deeds registered before 5th December 2017)
  • Property Address (Details of Deeds registered on and after 5th December 2017)
  • Registration Number & Registration Date/Registration Year
  • Name of the Buyer (Details of the instruments registered before 5th December 2017)
  • Name of the seller (details of instruments registered before 5th December 2017)
  • Name of the purchaser(Details of the instruments registered on and after 5th December 2017)
  • Name of the seller (details of the instruments registered on and after 5th December 2017)

  • Select from the options given on that page and a new page will open where you need to fill in the following details:
    • District
    • Property Address
    • Tehsil/Registration Office
    • Mohalla/Village
  • After filling in these details, click on the see details button as shown in the image below.

Check the Details of Property on the IGRS UP portal

  • Click on the Property details or सम्पत्ति विवरण option given on the homepage of official portal.
  • The property details search page will open and you need to select from the 2 options given on that page which are:
    • Rural Property
    • Urban Property
  • Select from the options given above according to your requirement. On selecting the form will appear below the options as shown in the image below.

  • Now select your district, Tehsil/SRO office, Village/Mohallah, and fill in your house/plot or Khasara number then click on the submit button given below.

Online Marriage Registration UP

  • Click on the application option given under the Marriage registration tab on the homepage of the official igrsup.gov.in portal.
  • A new page will open where the guidelines related to marriage registration is given, we recommend going through those guidelines before filling the application form.
  • Now click on the fill new application form option given under the marriage registration tab.
  • Now the marriage registration application form will open where the user is required to fill in multiple details about the husband, wife, registration office, venue etc. For reference, we have provided an image of the marriage registration application form below.

  • After filling in all the information click on the submit button to submit your application for marriage registration.

Marriage Registration online verification

To verify your marriage registration on the IGRSUP portal, click on the विवाह पंजीकरण सत्यापन option given on the homepage of the official portal. Now a new page will open where you need to fill in your certificate number, application number, marriage date, and then click on the verify button as shown in the image below.

Stamp duty withdrawal application on igrsup.gov.in

  • Select the Application for stamp withdrawal option from the homepage of the official IGRSUP Portal.
  • A new page will open where you need to select from login or register option. Users that are already registered on the portal can click on the login option and sign in with their user id and password.
  • New users are required to click on register option and setup their account on the portal first. ( the registration process is mentioned above )
  • After registration the stamp duty withdrawal application form will open where the user is required to fill in the details asked for in the form and submit it on the portal only.

Encumbrance certificate application on IGRSUP portal

To apply for the encumbrance certificate online in Uttar Pradesh, follow the procedure given below.

  • Click on the application option given under the encumbrance certificate or भारमुक्त प्रमाणपत्र tab on the homepage of the official igrsup.gov.in portal.
  • A new page will open, select the new application form option given on that page.
  • The encumbrance certificate application form page will open where the applicant is required to fill in details about him/her and property then click on the submit button to submit the application.
